Introduction

This is the central hub for the Neural Systems Engineering project. This section documents the design, deployment, and operation of a sovereign, locally-hosted artificial intelligence environment. Moving beyond standard homelab practices, this infrastructure integrates high-performance LLM inference, vector-based memory retrieval, and agentic automation to provide a self-contained cognitive layer for the network.

Engineering Foundations

This section establishes the technical baseline for the project. It includes the standardized terminology crib sheet, hardware requirement specifications for inference-capable nodes, and the philosophical framework for maintaining a private, filter-free AI environment that is immune to external "nanny-state" alignment.

Development Log

The operational journal for the project. This is the place for tracking iterative experiments, tuning logs, trial results for new models, and documenting the evolution of your neural architecture. Use this to maintain a historical record of your progress in refining and expanding your lab's cognitive capabilities.
